Booking deposit
A deposit holds a place in the schedule and is applied toward your total — it is not an additional fee. Paying one does not by itself mean we have accepted the project: every project is still reviewed, and if we decline yours the deposit is returned in full.
Put your model and color in the Square note
This one is required. Square tells us an amount and a name, not what the payment is for — so type your Tesla model and the color you want into the note field, for example “Model Y — 3M 2080-S12 Satin Black”. Without it we cannot match your deposit to a project, which delays your booking.

What happens to your money, and when.
A deposit is not a black hole. Here is the sequence, with the paperwork you should expect at each point.
- 01We confirm the material with youBefore anything is ordered we agree the exact film — brand, series, color code and finish — so nobody is guessing from a note field. If you were not sure at the time you paid, this is where we settle it together.
- 02We order it within 1–2 daysOnce the material is confirmed we place the order with Grimco, our distributor for both 3M and Avery Dennison, within one to two days. We do not sit on deposits waiting to batch orders.
- 03You get a confirmation email and an order numberThe order number is the real one from the supplier, not an internal reference. It is what makes every step after this checkable rather than something you have to take our word for.
- 04You get tracking as soon as it existsThe moment Grimco gives us tracking, we pass it to you. If they have not issued it yet we will tell you that rather than go quiet — silence is the thing that makes people worry, not delays.
- 05Then we schedule the installWith the material in hand and a date agreed, your car comes in. The remaining balance is due at drop-off, and you can settle it earlier if you would rather.
If a color turns out to be back-ordered or discontinued between your deposit and the order going in, we will tell you immediately and give you the choice: pick another, wait, or take the deposit back in full.

Due at vehicle drop-off, and payable any time before that if you prefer. There is no discount either way — it is purely whichever suits you.
Is your project a different figure? Text us at (571) 676-6578 rather than using the closest link. These charge a fixed amount, so the wrong one creates a refund instead of a settled balance.
Before you pay
A deposit is required to secure the project and authorize project preparation and material ordering in accordance with SpaceShip Wraps’ policies. It is applied toward your project total — it is not an additional fee.
If you cancel because you have changed your mind, we retain 5% of the deposit and return the rest. If we decline your project after reviewing it, you get the full deposit back and nothing is retained. Full terms · Why we decline projects
What you see here is a plain-language summary. Your project agreement is the document that governs, and we send it to you in writing — if anything on this page and anything in that agreement ever disagree, the agreement wins. Ask us about any of it before you pay rather than after.
